Java isn’t being left behind in the AI era; it’s powering the next one. As enterprises embrace agentic AI, the challenge isn’t building new systems but integrating intelligent agents into the Java-based backbones that already run global finance, logistics, and telecom. Rather than rewriting infrastructure in new languages, organizations are discovering that the most sustainable path is augmentation, connecting LLM-driven reasoning to Java’s stability, scalability, and performance. Noma Security launched the Agentic Risk Map (ARM), a new capability that visually maps how AI agents interact across systems, tools, and data environments. The feature provides real-time visibility into agent-to-agent (A2A) connections, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, permission chains, and cross-system dependencies, helping organizations detect anomalies such as prompt injections or unauthorized tool use. With AI agents expected to drive $6 trillion in economic value by 2028, the balance between innovation and security has never been more urgent. Moonshot AI has introduced Kimi K2 Thinking, an open-source model that redefines how AI tackles complex problems. Unlike traditional large language models that generate answers in a single pass, K2 Thinking reasons step by step using search engines, code interpreters, and browsers to plan, test, and refine its solutions autonomously. Read about how K2 Thinking could reshape AI-driven development and open-source innovation: https://lnkd.in/eS4txEhD #AI #OpenSource

The definition of an “insider threat” is being rewritten. OpenAI recently revealed that North Korean operatives used ChatGPT to create fake resumes and solve coding challenges, posing as legitimate employees to infiltrate organizations. As AI supercharges both synthetic and traditional insider risks, the challenge for security leaders is to adapt. Static role-based controls are no longer enough. Are AI and social media changing how we think for the better or making us more dependent on automation? In his latest LinkedIn article, Alan Shimel explores how our growing reliance on AI as a substitute for learning may be limiting curiosity and understanding. Read his full perspective and join the conversation on how we can use AI as a tool for learning, not a shortcut. #TechstrongAI #AI #AIEthics #DigitalTransformation
🚨 Spoiler: You were right all along — AI and social media really are rotting our brains. I dive into this in my latest Op-Ed on Techstrong.ai and in this article here on LinkedIn, riffing on a new NYT piece that says using AI as your “Google substitute” literally makes you learn less. But here’s the kicker: Google — the thing we used to blame for making us lazy — now looks like the “smart” option compared to AI doing all the thinking for us. I’ve seen this dumbing-down happen from the Dewey Decimal days to the ChatGPT era. The easier information gets, the less effort we make to understand it. Still, there’s hope. Use AI as a spark, not a shortcut — and we might yet dodge the fate of those poor humans in Wall-E.

We’ve all joked about it, “AI and social media are rotting our brains,” but new research says it’s not a joke anymore. The convenience of instant answers and echo chambers may save time, but it’s also atrophying the very muscles that make us curious, discerning thinkers. Read the full story to learn how we could go about reversing “digital brain rot” and making technology a force multiplier for human thought: https://lnkd.in/egh2zaKe #DigitalWellbeing #CriticalThinking #Tech

The future of AI is agentic, where intelligent agents can plan, act, and execute tasks autonomously. Yet, this autonomy depends on how effectively these agents can interact with real-world tools. The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is emerging as the key open standard that enables AI agents to dynamically discover, inspect, and invoke tools without rigid, manual integrations. Find out how MCP is unlocking the next frontier of secure, autonomous AI: https://lnkd.in/eYuNqcKP #AI #MCP #AgenticAI

The cybersecurity landscape is on the brink of its own Oppenheimer moment. As AI agents evolve and quantum computing looms, organizations face a dual chain reaction of risk that could redefine how digital defense operates. AI is supercharging both innovation and attack capabilities, while “harvest now, decrypt later” tactics make post-quantum cryptography (PQC) an urgent priority, not a future problem. Explore how cybersecurity leaders can prepare for this new era of converging AI and quantum risks here: https://lnkd.in/eehH_F8h #CyberSecurity #AI #Quantum
