About us

The Confetti Project is a creative wellness brand and experiential studio on a mission to normalize celebration as a tool for personal and collective transformation. Through immersive activations, community experiences, and confetti-fueled workshops, we help people and brands reconnect to joy, play, and self-expression. Our signature experience — The Celebration Lab — is a guided journey through movement, reflection, and confetti portraits designed to help you feel seen, celebrated, and more alive. We work with individuals, teams, and communities to create spaces where the beautiful mess of being human is welcomed — and where joy becomes more than a fleeting feeling, but a practice and a portal. 🎉 Clients include PBS, Fast Company Innovation Festival, and Lululemon 🎥 Featured in NBC NY1, Forbes, LA Times, Self, and more 📍 Based in NYC | Available globally for partnerships, workshops, and speaking 💌 Join the movement: www.theconfettiproject.com

Last month, it was such an honor to close out this year's Fast Company Innovation Festival with a Celebration Lab — the signature immersive workshop experience I’ve been curating for the past two years with The Confetti Project at our very first conference! I’ve been creating immersive workshops for years — but this was a milestone. It was the first time one of my joy-forward, play-centered, emotionally activating experiences was woven into a major industry event. And not just included — it was intentionally placed at the end of the festival as a moment of reset, reflection, and celebration. ✨ What’s a Celebration Lab? It’s a 90-minute immersive workshop that combines sensory play, guided journaling, storytelling, and community rituals — all in pounds of confetti — to help people reconnect with joy in the middle of whatever season they’re in. To hold space for 30 professionals to slow down, reflect on what they’re celebrating, make a mess, and play like they haven't in years… was incredible to witness. As a workshop facilitator and experiential producer, it gave me so much hope for how immersive, emotionally resonant programming can be a powerful — and essential — part of conferences, festivals, and summits in the future. I hope to see more embracing this in the future. Endless gratitude to the Kristin Mooney Morgan Brady Kc Ifeanyi and the Fast Company team for not only being an absolute pleasure to work with but for making space for joy, play, and celebration as values to be experienced. #FastCompanyInnovationFestival #TheConfettiProject #CelebrationLab #ExperienceDesign #JoyAsResistance #ImmersiveEvents #EmotionalWellness #FounderLife #TooMuchAndAlwaysEnough #PlayIsPower

💥 The Innovation Festival strikes again! Thousands of innovators flooded NYC for the 11th annual Fast Company Innovation Festival for a week of ideas and inspiration, with over 150 speakers, 3 stages, 40+ Fast Tracks, 8 dinners, 4 parties, and more! One week post-Festival, and these are the moments that have stuck with me: Salt & Straw founder Kim Malek created a brand where people and culture are at the forefront of the business strategy. She reminded us that "Culture eats strategy for breakfast, lunch, and dinner." While ice cream is their jam, people are their priority. Their fearless approach to flavors? "If the idea is crazy enough it just might work." I'm hopeful the pickle ice cream makes a comeback🍦 A first ever for Festival, we hosted a live Zoom panel with NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Jonny Kim from the International Space Station! They spoke about how discoveries in space are shaping industries here on Earth, all while their mics floated in zero gravity. "Over and out" hits different from space 🧑🚀 🪐   Jonathan Haidt, was perhaps my favorite speaker in this year's lineup dropping knowledge about the "Anxious Generation" his latest book. Haidt believes "Shutting down Tiktok would be the greatest thing we can do for human intelligence." I'm happy to say that I'm not a TikTok user however, Instagram, that's another story 📱 I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Brené Brown. She needs no introduction and in fact, I'll just recommend you go pick up her latest book "Strong Ground." Hands down my favorite experiential session was the Celebration Lab led by Jelena Aleksich, Founder of the The Confetti Project. After experiencing this 2 years ago in a warehouse in Brooklyn, I knew we needed to bring it to Festival. The experience encouraged us to reconnect with joy through play, something we lose more and more as we age. It's magical what a little bit of colored paper can do for your mood. 🎉   In between all of the incredible programming our partners added energy and inspiration to the Festival with: - Healthy and unique snacks at The Goods Mart 🍿 - Tony's Chocolonely brought the sweets with chocolate in all shapes and sizes including a claw machine! 🍫 - For a moment of peace and reflection, Grace Farms Tea & Coffee offered tea tastings 🫖 - A wholesome lunch was provided by our long time partners Farmer's Fridge - Content continued to be created outside the program rooms and inside the ROOM booth - Vestaboard kept attendees in the know about what was coming up next on stage and provided helpful tips throughout the event - Did I mention we had an Innovation Festival signature scent from Aera? 🌺 Above all else, this year’s Festival reminded me of the power of teamwork, collaboration, and positivity. Colleagues, freelancers, contractors, and partners all came together to create something incredible. 👊 Major shoutout to Ashley Roseman for her leadership and commitment to this event 🙌
