Last week Fort Novosel was once again designated Fort Rucker, and we couldn’t think of a better time to return to the Wiregrass for next week’s 2025 Aviation Industry Days event. As we help push the aviation frontier forward by delivering next-generation capabilities, we know we do it on ground made legendary by the heroes who came before, including Capt. Edward Rucker who flew the Nieuport in WWI, “Bugs” Cairns the armed helicopter pioneer and Fort Rucker Commanding General, and the famed Dustoff pilot Michael Novosel.
