Kodex helps companies manage their obligations to law enforcement to prevent real world harm
About us
Companies use the Kodex portal to manage workflows, communication, and secure file transfers with law enforcement and government agencies seeking information through legal process. With request verification, end-to-end encryption, full audit trails, transparency, real-time collaboration, and API integrations, Kodex is a complete case management solution for LERT and Trust and Safety teams. Each year, millions of data requests are sent from governments and law enforcement to companies who are legally required to respond. Currently, most data requests are sent through a combination of faxes, emails, and snail mail, making it difficult to manage, track, and respond to requests securely and on time.

100,000+ verified law enforcement professionals are now on Kodex. But this isn’t really about us. It’s about impact. Every single connection on our platform represents the possibility of a crime stopped, a family protected, or a community made safer. Explore stories that remind us why bridging the gap between public and private matters so much: https://lnkd.in/gQt277sF

When Bitget's compliance team watched their law enforcement request volume surge from ~20 to 100+ weekly, they knew manual processes wouldn't cut it. By using Kodex to automate verification and run one-click reports, the team is now able to easily identify connections between cases, respond more quickly, and provide better support for time-sensitive investigations. Before Kodex: Your legal team manually verified every law enforcement request. Each emergency data request created a judgment call under time pressure - release data to potentially save a life, or risk liability if the request turns out to be fraudulent. One wrong decision could mean releasing user data to stalkers, criminals, or worse. After Kodex: Automated verification backed by global intelligence. Companies using Kodex save millions annually in operational costs while eliminating the risk of fraudulent data releases. The measurable impact: Faster response times, zero successful fraudulent releases through our platform, and legal teams who can finally focus on high-value work instead of credential verification. Plus, when threat intelligence is shared across the network, you benefit from every compromise detected industry-wide - not just the ones targeting your company.

Final reminder: tomorrow, led by Asset Reality and alongside Kobre & Kim, we will explore how the public and private sectors can collaborate to achieve faster and more effective recoveries for victims of crypto-related crime. We’ll challenge the long-standing assumption that recovery must depend solely on law enforcement and demonstrate how civil and private-sector pathways can complement public efforts, rather than replace them. I’m especially looking forward to discussing how technology platforms like Kodex have helped bridge long-standing communication gaps between exchanges and investigators, and what’s still needed to extend that spirit of cooperation into private recovery efforts. See you there!

Wayne and Garth didn't accept the bad ending. When everything fell apart, they literally rewound the tape and worked together to create their "mega happy ending." That's the energy we need when it comes to data requests. When the good guys collaborate—law enforcement, companies, and platforms like Kodex—we can rewrite the ending to stop bad guys, too. Collective defense works. 🤝
