Dan Herbstman, Brian Dengler , and Kieran Arnold will be on site in Vegas next week connecting with partners across post-acute and senior care. Our focus is simple: how consistent after-hours coverage supports staffing stability, safer handoffs, and stronger readmission performance. Third Eye Health helps facilities treat residents in place 92% of the time, with an average clinician response under two minutes. Those moments matter most when nights get busy and care can’t wait. If you’re attending, come say hello! We’d love to learn how your team is tackling after-hours care next year. Every night, there is a quiet moment that defines the work we do. A nurse sends a message. A resident spikes a fever. Within minutes, a clinician is there, virtually but fully present. At Third Eye Health, our NPs and clinicians make those moments safer. They keep residents where they belong and help nurses rest a little easier knowing they have real backup. We are expanding our team of advanced practice providers who thrive in this setting and who know that calm, capable care at 2 a.m. matters as much as the morning rounds. If you are a licensed NP with multi-state experience who values connection and purpose, we would love to talk. #ThirdEyeHealth #NursePractitionerJobs #TelehealthCareers #AfterHoursCare #ClinicalExcellence #HealthcareHiring #PostAcuteCare 📩 DM us or email HR@thirdeyehealth.com

Closing out two weeks of the federal shutdown, the biggest changes for healthcare are unfolding behind the scenes: in the systems that support reimbursement and compliance. Here’s what’s new: → CMS has extended its claims hold but clarified that it applies only to telehealth claims impacted by the expired Medicare payment provisions under the Full-Year Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act of 2025 → Several telehealth flexibilities have lapsed, including home-based and non-rural coverage and the ability to complete hospice recertifications virtually → Clinicians should review ABN procedures for any services no longer payable under Medicare (https://lnkd.in/gS4Ry7CE) → ACO participants retain flexibility to furnish covered telehealth services without geographic restrictions (https://lnkd.in/g6Q5Y8KR) Our clinical operations remain steady. We’re preparing to reopen claims once CMS lifts the hold and will notify partners directly when that occurs. For those tracking which telehealth rules remain active, HHS maintains an updated summary here: 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gW43yzRY We’ll continue to monitor developments and share clear, factual updates. Quality care starts with trust and follow-through, and during a recent review, a partner organization shared with our Quality Assurance team how much they appreciate the clinical care our clinicians provide and how seriously we take each patient interaction. This kind of feedback reflects the consistency and compassion our clinicians bring to every encounter and reminds us that every review, every night, and every bedside consult is a reflection of true partnership and patient-centered care. #ClinicalExcellence #PatientSafety #Telehealth #NursingSupport #PostAcuteCare

Safer care begins with steady teams. Every night, our clinicians back up nursing staff so morning rounds start calm, clear, and complete. When communication flows easily and support is constant, anxiety decreases, and older adults rest more comfortably through the night. At Third Eye Health, we see staff wellbeing and patient safety as two parts of the same system. Our after-hours clinicians and care coordination nurses work side by side to keep each shift connected and every handoff consistent, building the stability that protects both residents and those who care for them. Moving into the second week of the federal shutdown, much of the public focus has been on the economy. But for healthcare, the more meaningful shifts are happening quietly in the background. CMS payments continue, though reduced staffing may slow reimbursements. Program renewals and policy updates are on hold, and quality reporting delays could affect planning later in the year. These ripple effects don’t stop care. Instead, they shape the operational context around it. We remain steady in service delivery and will continue sharing clear, fact-based updates as the situation evolves. See our infographic, “Telehealth in a Shutdown,” for a visual breakdown of how these factors connect and where we’re focused in the weeks ahead. #Telehealth #HealthcarePolicy #PostAcuteCare #HealthIT

Today we recognize the nurses who stay steady when everything else is moving fast. Every day, all day (and night), they are the calm in the storm; assessing, advocating, and caring with skill and compassion when patients need it most. And we are proud to stand beside them! Our clinicians respond in under two minutes, and together with frontline nurses, we treat 92% of patients in place. Every shift, that teamwork keeps residents safe, comfortable, and right where they call home. To every nurse who answers the call, thank you for your courage, your precision, and your heart. You make care possible. If your facility is exploring stronger after-hours coverage or support for keeping residents and patients out of the ER whenever possible, let's discuss how our telehealth program keeps care connected when it matters most: https://lnkd.in/gsSs56dS

A PA rounds at 7 p.m., clarifies the plan at the bedside, and sets the next check-in. At Midnight, the same PA has a quick video huddle with the night RN to review cues and escalation. By morning, the handoff is clean and the owner is clear. That rhythm is scaling: telemedicine use rose from 9.2% to 42.7%, ~42% of PAs work in hospitals, and the workforce increased by 27.8% in just five years! Clinically active PAs now touch ~10.8 million visits per week. That is what connective care looks like. Tag a PA who's made a difference in your practice to thank them. #PAWeek #PhysicianAssistants #Telemedicine #HospitalMedicine #TeamBasedCare #MedCapHealth

Almost a week into the federal shutdown, the headlines focus on macroeconomic impact, but for healthcare and telehealth, the real story is what happens behind the scenes. Here’s what matters most right now: -CMS payments continue, but processing may slow as agencies operate with reduced staff. Reimbursement timelines could stretch if the shutdown lingers. -Program renewals and regulatory guidance may stall, delaying telehealth waivers and policy updates that many facilities depend on -Quality reporting and administrative functions are disrupted, which can affect planning and compliance down the line We’re tracking developments closely and will keep partners informed with clear, factual updates.
