THOR team members had a wonderful time attending the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMDHC) McDazzle Kilts Kids Fundraiser last evening, as part of THOR's ongoing support of the organization. During the event, they heard inspiring stories and learned more about RMDHC's mission to provide a home-away-from-home at no cost for families with children who are sick or injured, aged 21 and younger. Yesterday, 21 team members from THOR's Global Headquarters volunteered at Feed the Children, packing 360 boxes filled with essentials which will be delivered to families in need across the United States. Feed the Children is committed to ending childhood hunger. They believe that no child should go to bed hungry, which is why they provide children and families in the U.S. and around the world with the food and essentials kids need to grow and thrive. THOR Community Foundations' donation to the Elkhart Sister Cities Association will support their Hispanic Heritage festival, which takes place this Saturday, September 27. The festival will include Hispanic food, crafts, music, and other Hispanic cultural entertainment. The Elkhart Sister Cities Association's mission is to promote international awareness and education within the community and to foster understanding and friendship among diverse cultures.
