One of the key client segments for Tournated are national sports federations across different countries and disciplines. A common situation we see: federations often have a simple website with a short list of professional or junior tournaments. (Tournament management, however, is handled through third-party tools). As a result, it may look like the country only hosts 10 tournaments a year and has around 100 active players - while in reality, dozens of unofficial competitions take place every week across local leagues and clubs, involving hundreds of athletes of all levels. These players and events remain invisible — both to the federation and to potential sponsors. With Tournated, federations can finally gain a full picture and control over their sport nationally. Our platform allows you to unite all tours, leagues, tournaments, and players in one place. It not only delivers high-quality tools for athletes and referees, but also helps federations increase the number of registered players and officially recognized competitions — without the high costs of building a custom system from scratch. P.S.: In 2025, Tournated started its cooperation with Latvijas Volejbola Federācija, beginning with beach volleyball. We’re confident this partnership will continue to grow in the future.

We keep growing in padel and are happy to announce our partnership with Hrvatski Padel Savez (Croatian Padel Association) 🇭🇷🎾 Their white-label platform powered by Tournated is expected to go live by the end of December and will serve as the primary national tool for licensing, tournaments, rankings, and player management. Padel is currently Europe’s fastest-growing sport, played by over 10 million players across the continent. Croatia, with its rapidly expanding club network and growing community of passionate players, is becoming one of the region’s most promising padel destinations. Together, we’re building the digital foundation for the next stage of padel’s development in Croatia and beyond 💪

Yesterday, we held two workshops for the governing bodies of sports organizations that have recently started using our platform: the Lithuanian Padel Federation and the African Pickleball Confederation. We demonstrated how various features work and walked them through the journey of an organizer, referee, and other roles on the platform. When onboarding a new governing body, we make sure that everyone involved receives proper training and support. Currently, we are also working on improving the platform’s user experience and refining our UI/UX. After that, we will create a series of tutorials to make using the platform even easier and more enjoyable. P.S.: The image below is a post published by the African Pickleball Confederation. We’re thrilled to be part of the growth of pickleball in the region.

What truly makes our team unique is that all Tournated co-founders are former professional athletes from different sports. And here is our co-founder Mihails Samoilovs. He is one of the best beach volleyball players in Latvia, a U22 European champion, and a talented coach. When we first met Misha at Tournated, he was still an active professional athlete, but gradually business drew him in completely. Transitioning from the volleyball court to the office is no easy task and requires mastering many new skills – and Misha handles them all. For example, it turns out that speaking to an audience is even harder than playing a final in front of a packed stadium. Today, Misha is responsible for Sales in our company and represents Tournated to new sports organizations.
Life’s journey is full of unexpected turns — I could’ve never imagined that one day I’d be speaking at a business conference, sharing the story of our Tournated growth and evolution! A huge thank you to Diamond Group for the opportunity and for my first experience stepping into this new role. It’s been a while since my hands trembled in front of an audience 😅 — but I’m sure this won’t be the last time I take the mic to talk about our victories and our drive to become number one in the industry. Special thanks to Anastasija Ivanova for the invitation!

Yesterday, the Tournated team had our second team-building event! And yes, we played padel! 🎾 We came up with this idea because — since all of our co-founders are former professional athletes - it’s especially important to us that everyone on the team gets to experience the sports we work with firsthand. This way, each co-founder can share their sport with the team, everyone gains a deeper understanding of what we do, and, of course, sports training is one of the best ways to strengthen team spirit. 💪 The first sport we explored together was padel. We gathered at the brand-new O-Padel club, located in the Olympic Center in Riga, and rented two courts for two hours. During the first hour, our co-founders ran a short training session, introducing the rest of the team to basic padel techniques. After that, we split into pairs and played a mini-tournament - full of energy, laughter, and friendly competition! 🏆 And, of course, we finished the day enjoying some delicious sushi from our favorite restaurant - Gan Bei 🍣 Can’t wait to see what sport we’ll try together next!

One of the reasons to host your tournaments through Tournated.
Co-founder & CMO of Tournated | Influencer | ex-professional athlete (WTA player & beach tennis world champion 2016)
Every Monday at Tournated, we publish a post on our social media and community chats with the upcoming tournaments that will take place next week - either on our marketplace (play.tournated.com) or on one of our white-label platforms. We do this for two main reasons: 1️⃣ To show how many tournaments in different sports and locations are happening on Tournated. 2️⃣ To help our organizers promote their tournaments and reach more participants. Today, as always, we shared our weekly post - and right after that, one of our organizers messaged us saying their tournament wasn’t included. It turned out we had prepared the post a few days earlier, and their event was added afterward. But what really matters is this 👇 It’s important for organizers to be featured in our “upcoming tournaments” post. That means they see real value in it. It means our idea is working - and that we’re truly helping our clients get more visibility for their tournaments.
