🙌 Another #ProudMoment! ✨ Yesterday, I had the pleasure of presenting our work in the TRACE HORIZON project at the 10th Workshop on “B5G – Putting Intelligence to the Network Edge” (#B5GPINE), in the framework of IFIP AIAI - International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Applications and Innovations, chaired by Dr. Ioannis Chochliouros. Our work, entitled "TRACE: a Reference Architecture for Intelligent Logistics Operations in B5G Networks", is a collaborative effort between Themistoklis Anagnostopoulos, Konstantinos Fragkos, Ioanna Mesogiti, George Limperopoulos, Eleni Theodoropoulou, Kostas Kolomvatsos, and myself. 💡 The key takeaway is the great potential that #B5G and #6G technologies are bringing to the #logistics sector, which is proven to be transformative. We are seeing this now, where 4G/5G connectivity is revolutionising logistics, with the integration of #autonomous vehicles, like #cargo #bikes, #robots and #drones, optimising and enhansing middle- and last-mile deliveries. TRACE Reference Architecture provides a modular and scalable solution for the optimisation of multimodal and synchromodal logistics. 🟦 Our work is now published at Springer Nature, in "Artificial Intelligence Applications and Innovations.
