At the TREEADS 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 in Athens on 27 May 2025, ACCELIGENCE LTD. presented an original video showcasing cutting-edge robotic solutions for wildfire prevention, detection, extinguishing, and reforestation - developed within the framework of the TREEADS project. What’s featured in the video: 🔹 UAV LiDAR scanning and 3D fire simulation models 🔹 Preventive burning and thermal detection of hotspots 🔹 AI-powered real-time detection of smoke, humans, and animals 🔹 UAV-deployed firefighting foam nozzle with precision control 🔹 UAV seedball reforestation: 1,500 seedballs in under 90 minutes This work reflects our strong commitment to innovation and to building resilient ecosystems through technology. 🌿 The TREEADS Final Event took place on May 27th in Athens — a milestone moment marking the successful conclusion of our project and the beginning of new opportunities for wildfire resilience across Europe and beyond. The project coordinator Kemal Sarp Arsava provided a full overview of the outcomes and key results, while participants explored the full spectrum of TREEADS innovations: 🔥 cutting-edge drone and robotic technologies for wildfire monitoring by Katerina Margariti, 🛰️ the advanced WebGIS platform for risk assessment and prevention by Diego Gonzalez-Aguilera, 📱 citizen alert systems and integrated CO sensors by Dimitris Kyriazanos and Thomas Maggos, 🌍 and real-world pilot demonstrations from across multiple countries by Carmine Pascale. We were especially proud to welcome perspectives from stakeholders and first responders, including insights from Taiwan's bamboo forest response efforts by Hsiao-Lung Pan and Austria's wildfire challenges by Georg Aumayr. The discussions around the future exploitation of TREEADS outcomes by John Kaldis and the governance proposals from our Think Tank by Diogo Vallim added critical value to our collective mission. 🙏 A heartfelt thank you to ACCELIGENCE LTD for the excellent organization and coordination of the event, and to all partners, speakers, and participants for your commitment, collaboration, and impact.
