🇬🇷 Last week at the Global SOF Foundation Symposium Europe in Athens, TRM Labs teamed up with Flashpoint to showcase the multiplying power of technical integrations. Together, we demonstrated how teams can: ▪️ Rapidly triage threat intelligence across broad data sources ▪️ Deep-dive with advanced analytics to uncover hidden insights By uniting Flashpoint’s off-chain intelligence with TRM’s #blockchainanalytics in a single workflow, we’re helping security operations move from alert fatigue to actionable investigations — faster and more accurately. Thank you to Flashpoint and the Global Security Operations Forum for bringing the community together. We’re proud to support the next generation of integrated security solutions. Last week, TRM Labs experts traveled to Mexico and Chile to partner with public and private sector leaders on emerging #crypto threats — and the capacity-building needed to meet them. 🇲🇽 In 𝐌𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, at the Asociación de Bancos de México ABM, A. C.’s annual AML conference, our TRM’s Chris Janczewski spoke about his experience leading the IRS-CI investigation into the Bitfinex hack and other major cases. He stressed the importance for all financial institutions to embed crypto risk assessments and entity-level screening into their AML and compliance programs to mitigate unseen exposure and counterparty risk. 🇨🇱 In 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐨, Isaac M. joined the Seminario Internacional de Ciberseguridad (organized by (PDI- Policía de Investigaciones de Chile) to discuss CSAM, ransomware, fraud, and crypto scams — both from a Chilean vantage point and in a broader, global context. He also shared insights in an interview with Diario Financiero on how technology and cross-sector collaboration are essential to building trust in the digital asset ecosystem. Both events affirmed a simple truth: public and private teams alike need targeted training and hands-on enablement to stay ahead of sophisticated threats. For frontline investigators, a single seed phrase or hardware wallet can be the key to cracking a case. But knowing how to spot and handle these artifacts isn’t always easy — especially in fast-moving digital asset investigations. On October 29, join TRM’s Chris Janczewski (Head of Global Investigations) and Christopher Wong (Global Investigator) for a tactical session covering: 🔷 How to identify common #crypto artifacts in the field 🔷 What makes these clues critical to building court-ready cases 🔷 The crypto-related clues both Janczewski and Wong followed while investigating the 2016 Bitfinex hack and other major crypto cases This is a rare opportunity to go behind the scenes with two of the most experienced crypto crime investigators in the world. 👮♂️ 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝘄 𝗲𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆.
