🎉 Celebrating Our First-Ever Quarterly Core Value Award Winner: Christine Copeland! 🎉 We’re thrilled to announce that Christine Copeland has been selected as our first-ever Quarterly Core Value Award Winner — and we couldn't think of anyone more deserving! Christine has been a dedicated member of our transportation team for 8 years, and throughout that time, she has consistently embodied our “We Team Up” core value. Christine was nominated by multiple leaders, each sharing stories of her unwavering teamwork and reliability. Here are just a few highlights from her nominations: “Christine is a team player through and through. She doesn’t shy away from helping others, no matter what the task is. 🌟 Meet our incredible resident Wes Yates, a proud Navy veteran who enlisted just before World War II came to an end. After boot camp in Great Lakes, he was later deployed to San Francisco. Although his mission was cut short with the war's abrupt end, he served on a Navy container ship, collecting leftover munitions from the Pacific Islands. Throughout his life, Wes has always been envious of pilots, dreaming of flying planes. Thanks to the the amazing program Dream Flights, sponsored by Consonus Healthcare and the Vital Life Foundation, he recently had the opportunity to soar through the skies in a restored, WWII-era biplane! Wes feels honored to have served his country and continues to inspire us all. Join us in celebrating his remarkable journey! #DreamFlights #NavyVeteran #VeteranStories

In honor of Older Americans Month, we're celebrating Karen, an adventurer who will be joining us next fall. After she and her first husband met in college, they traveled from California to Hawaii, where he taught oceanography. Following his passing, Karen continued her scientific career working with a scanning electron microscope—even on moonrocks! Alongside her passion for science, Karen has a deep love for the arts, serving as a board member of the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts for over 20 years. Her adventurous spirit keeps her exploring the world. In the past year alone, she’s traveled to Kenya, Tanzania, Antarctica, and Iguazu Falls. Her motto? “If you rest, you rust.” #OlderAmericansMonth
