Gender equality is unfinished business — and unrealised potential — for the world. Last week UN Women launched a new report building on these findings — 𝐔𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬: 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 — calling on governments, businesses, and communities to push forward to create a better future #ForAllWomenAndGirls. The report reaffirms what our Business Case for Inclusive Advertising found last year: leaving inclusion behind is bad for business and society. Everyone in the marketing ecosystem, no matter their role or level, can help build better ads by asking one simple question: Who is Missing? Unstereotype Alliance Australia’s research shows the need is urgent: 41% of women and 59% of men say they don’t see themselves represented in advertising, with Australians who live at the intersection of identities most likely to feel excluded. 🇦🇺 Last week, our Australia chapter launched its ‘Who’s Missing' campaign to close this gap. Join the campaign ➡️ https://lnkd.in/evuGFYuJ Inclusion isn’t just the right thing to do - it’s the future of effective, resilient, and trusted brands.
