🌱🌏 An agreement between Frontier Infrastructure Holdings & Wild Assets secures the purchase of 120,000 tonnes of high-permanence CORCs We’re pleased to share that Frontier Carbon Solutions, a leading developer of low-carbon infrastructure, and Wild Assets, a unique global asset manager for carbon dioxide removal, signed a significant offtake agreement. Frontier Carbon Solutions plans to produce CORCs by capturing biogenic CO₂ emissions, transporting and storing them geologically in their drilled Class VI wells in Wyoming. A key differentiator is their ability to avoid the challenges associated with building and using long-distance CO₂ pipelines, using instead a rail-based model for transport. The CORCs will be retired via Puro Registry, ensuring the thorough verification and compliance with the rigorous Puro Standard. Frontier Infrastructure Holdings is thrilled to announce a major offtake agreement with Wild Assets for high-permanence Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS) carbon removal credits. Frontier will capture biogenic CO₂ from ethanol refineries, then utilize our innovative CO₂-by-rail logistics model to transport it to our Sweetwater Carbon Storage Hub in Wyoming for permanent geologic sequestration. This rail-based approach offers a crucial alternative to traditional pipelines, streamlining project development. This agreement powerfully reinforces our strategy to develop leading low-carbon infrastructure and provide reliable, high-integrity carbon credits, enabling real decarbonization in the energy value chain.
