Explore and Enhance Remote Work Impacts Across Europe!

About us

WinWin4WorkLife is a pioneering endeavor aimed at deepening interdisciplinary understanding of the social, economic, and spatial impacts of Remote Work Arrangements (RWA). Rooted in the transformative landscape of post-pandemic work dynamics, the project strives to elucidate the complexities surrounding remote work, bridging insights from employers and employees alike. With a strategic focus on five European countries - Germany, Finland, Luxembourg, Portugal, and Slovakia - WinWin4WorkLife embarks on a data-driven exploration. Through meticulous data collection encompassing diverse welfare systems, housing and labor markets, and cultural contexts, the project seeks to unravel the multifaceted dimensions of remote work. Central to WinWin4WorkLife's mission is the establishment of typologies delineating the diverse spectrum of RWA adoption among employers and employees. By considering factors such as urban-rural dynamics, skill shortages, health indicators, and digital proficiency, the project aims to offer nuanced perspectives crucial for informed policy formulation. An integral component of the project involves the development of sophisticated spatial forecasting models. These models, spanning urban, rural, regional, and cross-border areas, provide invaluable insights into the potential spatial and environmental ramifications of various RWA scenarios. Such insights are poised to empower policymakers, researchers, and communities to navigate the evolving landscape of remote work effectively. Driven by a consortium of 15 partners across Europe, WinWin4WorkLife represents a collaborative effort dedicated to fostering a harmonious equilibrium in Remote Work Arrangements. Led by the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER), the project underscores a commitment to advancing knowledge and shaping evidence-based policies to navigate the transformative realm of remote work in Europe.
