From manual bottlenecks to automated success: a Gardiner. success story ⤵️ When customer refrigerant tracking requests skyrocketed, Gardiner’s leadership team was spending 3 hours per report; up to 66+ hours a year just compiling data. After implementing XOi’s refrigerant tracking workflow, the results spoke for themselves: 🔹 213% increase in completed workflows 🔹 66+ leadership hours reclaimed annually 🔹 Zero manual reporting—data captured, standardized, and automated That’s what happens when asset data connects every stakeholder, from the field to the back office, with a single source of truth. Big thanks to Carley Derrick for partnering with Gardiner to build the strategy and see it through to real results—a lot of critical work happens behind the scenes in Customer Success at XOi to foster a partnership experience and make outcomes like this possible. Grateful to the Gardiner team for sharing how they’re using XOi to drive smarter service and keep the world running.

We may be all about innovation in HVAC/MEP technology, but we know that all great partnerships begin with a handshake (and maybe a stop at the photo booth 📸). Senior Customer Success Manager Carley Derrick made waves at this year's CFESA Annual Conference, alongside Enterprise Account Executive Phil Lacey and Account Executive Matthew Doinidis—congrats Carley on joining the CFESA New Member Committee 🎉 Proud to be part of this community 💪
Back at it this Monday, completely energized by the incredible CFESA Annual Conference last week and carrying a powerful reminder of the strength, heart, and forward momentum in this industry. I am thankful to have attended alongside some of my favorite team members, Enterprise Account Executive Phil Lacey and Account Executive Matthew Doinidis. This year brought so many standout moments: 📸 Spending time with a group of influential customers (and their lovely wives!), engaged in the kind of conversations that go deeper than just business. We adore Josh Zolin of Windy City Equipment (WCE, Inc), Rich Malachy of Malachy Parts & Service, and our Commercial Kitchen Installers Inc. friends. Always great to be together in person. 🤝 Reconnecting with Nathan Miller from Coastline Cooling, LLC and the Commercial Kitchen Installers Inc. team, who brought us together: Tim Adamson, their president and CEO, and Lance Segars, his COO and right-hand man. These kinds of connections and friendships are everything. 🔍 Joining the CFESA New Member Committee this year with such a fantastic team, I experienced firsthand how CFESA fosters a welcoming environment for new voices and creates a hospitable atmosphere for everyone. It was a great first year to get involved, and experience meaningful collaboration and events like the themed first-time attendee pirate hunt—which included Patrick Duffy of Duffy's - AIS rocking his theme the entire time. 💫 Watching Debi Diamond of Diamond Refrigeration, a committee co-chair this past year, officially become a committee chair. Debi was the first non-customer to make me feel welcome at CFESA last year, and she’s continued to lead with that same warmth and authenticity. 🎉 Closing out the conference with Georgia Eason, wife of SAM Service president Jim Eason (congratulations, Jim!), a company that has made a quick impact and grown into a standout presence in the USG industry. Georgia and I connected last year, and our relationship has only strengthened since (she even receives the family Christmas card!). While on the topic of SAM Service —congratulations to Nick Cribb, DFS, Past President of CFESA, on his new role as VP of Regional Operations at Unlimited Service Group. I am thankful to have seen a glimpse of his success as President at SAM Service. This event is a reminder that XOi’s role in the field service ecosystem goes far beyond a solution; it’s about standing shoulder to shoulder with the people, partners, and organizations that keep it all running. Until next year, CFESA. We're proud to be part of this community. Thanks for welcoming me from day one!

The trouble with the “break ➡️ fix" model is that most of the time it’s the customer who finds the problem. We don’t need to tell you what that means for customer retention. Too often, field service providers try to solve the issue by over-deploying resources—an expensive guesswork strategy to avoid outages. When it comes to uptime, today’s customers expect prediction and prevention. With a proactive approach, most issues are resolved before they ever impact the asset. That means fewer disruptions, stronger customer relationships, and higher retention. With this level of precision, resource deployments can be optimized, reducing both capital and operating costs. Do more than fix equipment. Today, you can prevent downtime from ever occurring.

When a customer ✨gets it✨, you build a lasting partnership. For the past five years, Rob Winstel and Perfection Group have exemplified this by embracing the power of data to predict asset issues before downtime occurs. Rob said it best: “To have that data in a fashion they can easily review, digest, and use for planning and budgeting helps you focus on customer relationships and long-term needs, rather than just being reactive.” We’re grateful Rob joined us at VisionExchange ’25 to talk Site Surveying with Ricky Sparenga—and we’re proud to keep growing together. Check the link in the comments to hear more from Rob and Perfection Group on how they’ve partnered with us to maximize their customers' equipment uptime.

"How many projects have been delayed by missing specs or bad field data? 👀 Smarter capture in the field keeps everything moving. Read here how smarter data capture = faster modeling, sourcing, and installs. Link in the comments ⤵️⤵️⤵️
The most expensive moment in your project is the one where no one captured the data. Every stalled ESCO project can be traced back to that missing piece. Missing specs. Manual nameplate capture. Bad assumptions from the field. When asset data is incomplete or inaccurate, everything slows down—modeling gets shaky, sourcing gets messy, and installs get delayed. Want to see how smarter field data keeps projects moving? Link in comments ↓ 🪫 Remember: if your job is to save energy, don’t waste energy on the job.
