Chief Executive Officer – Biotech (Europe / UK Remote)

I'm working with an exciting venture-backed, pre-clinical biotech developing a first-in-class therapeutic platform at the intersection of neuroscience and immunology. The mission is to restore immune balance across neurological and systemic diseases through a novel, mechanism-driven approach.

Operating in stealth mode, the company combines a strong scientific foundation with seasoned early-stage investors and a robust network of CRO and academic partners.

Currently seed funded, they are entering a key growth phase focused on candidate selection and pre-clinical validation, ahead of a Series A financing milestone within the next 12 months.

The Role:

• Shape the overall scientific and strategic direction of a pioneering therapeutic platform.

• Lead day-to-day operations and cultivate relationships with investors, advisors, and key partners.

• Build and guide a lean, mission-driven team through candidate selection and early development stages.

Your Background

• Essential that you have a PhD in Neurology, Immunology or similar Life Science.

• Proven leadership in early-stage biotech or translational R&D.

• Demonstrated success in fundraising or venture financing within biotech environment.

• Expertise in neuroscience, immunology, or biologic therapeutics.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a 'build mode' environment.

Whilst the scientific background and successful fundraising track-record are essential, this role would be open to other C-suite positions like CSO or COO who have a strong track record.
