Are you a strategic procurement leader with a passion for driving excellence in supply chain management? We are seeking an experienced Head of Procurement – Fasteners to join our dynamic, forward-thinking organization based in Europe. In this pivotal role, you will ensure a robust and sustainable supply of screws, bolts, and nuts for our diverse portfolio of industrial and construction clients across Europe.


Your Role

As the Head of Procurement for Fasteners, you will spearhead our procurement strategy, fostering resilience and innovation in our supply chain. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Supplier Management: Develop and diversify our supplier network across Europe and Asia, building strong, long-term partnerships to secure reliable supply chains.
  • Contract Negotiation: Secure best-in-class pricing and terms through skillful negotiation of long-term contracts, balancing cost efficiency with quality and reliability.
  • Compliance & Sustainability: Ensure adherence to EU quality standards, Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), and sustainability regulations, positioning our supply chain as a leader in responsible sourcing.
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with trading, supply chain, and operations teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives and market demands.


What We’re Looking For

We seek a proactive and commercially astute leader with:

  • Proven Expertise: 7+ years of procurement experience, ideally within industrial manufacturing, construction, or fastener-specific industries.
  • Global Perspective: Demonstrated success in managing international supplier relationships, particularly in Europe and Asia.
  • Strategic Acumen: Strong negotiation skills and a track record of delivering cost savings while maintaining quality and compliance.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience building and leading teams, with a focus on fostering growth and collaboration.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of EU quality standards, CBAM, and sustainability frameworks.
  • Communication: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French or additional languages is a plus.
