Procurement Data Manager (Remote)

🧩 Role: Procurement Data Manager (Remote) 3months contract

Context:

This is a functional–analytical role within the Procurement area, not a purely technical one.

The client is (confidential), and they need someone to maintain existing Sievo reports using procurement data coming from ERP or SCUPA systems.

The contract runs until February 2026, with possible extension, and the work is 100% remote (Europe time zone preferred).

🎯 Mission

Maintain and manage procurement data reports in Sievo, ensuring that buyers and procurement stakeholders understand and use the data to make informed business decisions.

👉 You are not expected to build new dashboards or data pipelines, the key focus is on interpreting and communicating existing procurement data.

🧠 Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update reports in Sievo (Procurement Analytics platform).
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across procurement datasets.
• Translate procurement data (spend, suppliers, categories, savings, compliance, etc.) into clear, actionable insights for buyers and category managers.
• Collaborate with the Global Procurement Tech & Data Excellence team.
• Provide concrete, solution-oriented communication, avoiding overly technical or theoretical language.

✅ Mandatory Requirements

1. 5+ years of experience in procurement data management, analytics, or similar roles.
2. Hands-on experience with Sievo (must have actually used it).
3. Strong understanding of Procurement processes, especially Source-to-Pay (S2P), Procurement KPIs, and ERP/SCUPA data flows.
4. Excellent communication skills – able to translate data into clear business language.
5. Fluent English and a business-oriented mindset.

🚫 Red Flags (Not a Fit)

• Pure data engineers or data scientists with no procurement background.
• Candidates who cannot explain how data supports procurement decisions (e.g., cost optimization, supplier performance, savings tracking).
