Groupe Cahors is looking for a Purchasing Manager!

Cahors is a European leader in the energy transition with several milestones: 2035 and 2050.


Main responsibilities:

- Overhaul the purchasing teams

- Draft a purchasing strategy incorporating carbon footprint, CSR and the principles of the Sapin Law

- Manage international teams

- Identify levers for savings, working capital requirements and purchasing agility in line with the economic climate

- Develop group negotiation strategies

- Provide support to manufacturers in terms of quality, quantity, deadlines and safety

- Support multidisciplinary technological developments

- Manage key accounts and group partners with the CEO


Benefits:

- 13-month salary with an annual bonus of up to €25K based on targets

Job requirements:

- Regular international travel to factories and strategic suppliers

- Position based in France

- No regular remote working


Desired profile:

- Minimum 10 years of management experience in international industrial purchasing, working with culturally diverse teams, with a technical degree and a degree in purchasing or supply chain management

- Rigorous and vigilant

- Leadership skills

- Teaching skills
