- [Instructor] When we add dimensions to our orthos, they're simply AutoCAD dimensions in paper space. There's no links to the model, so if you do make a change in your model, you must remember to go back and change the dimensions when you update the views. Annotations, however, are linked to the model, and any changes that are made in the model will update automatically. Let's take a look at some examples. So we're going to open our model 09_Model, and we're going to create a new drawing. We're going to call this 09_06_ORTHO. So let's take a look, we're going to change to top view here. We're going to load our Ortho View 1, and we're going to look at our model selection, we want our equipment and our structural. We're going to keep a quarter inch to foot and I'm just going to say OK and drag this into a drawing. Now, if we want to take a look at some of our dimensioning here, I'm just going to change to view and remove the hidden piping just so that we can see that little vector, so…
