Importing an existing Plant 3D file to the project

- [Instructor] During the lifecycle of an engineering project, plant models are constantly being modified and updated. We can reuse existing models to add new design information to our current project without having to spend the time redrawing components that have already been created for similar project. It's very important to understand the correct way to reuse existing drawings without compromising the integrity of the project data. So, let's take a look in our project manager window. And, we want to open up drawing 02_01_Piping.dwg. And, then let's take a look at data manager. So, once you have data manager open, I want you to change it to the Plant 3D Project Data. And, notice that it's still coming up empty. We don't currently have any piping components in our project. So, now what we're going to do is we're going to copy a drawing to our project, an existing drawing. So, to do that, I'm going to come under our piping folder here, I'm going to right click, and I'm going to say…
