- Welcome to lesson three, Introducing Terraform. It's time to understand how that Terraform config actually works. In this lesson, we discuss the fundamental concepts of Terraform's approach to infrastructures code as well as some common misconceptions about Terraform that many newcomers face. We introduce the concept of the Terraform state. This is a very important aspect of Terraform, so we'll touch on it throughout the course. Next, we explore Terraform's features, so you can get an idea of what you can achieve with it. Then we'll ask the question, is Terraform multicloud? There's a lot of confusion about this feature of Terraform, so I outline what multicloud means in the context of Terraform. Finally, we'll review the example from the previous section so we can further understand what actually happened.
