To truly retain information, you need to actively recall it. Active recall and spaced repetition are powerful, research-backed techniques that boost memory and can help you learn faster. In this lesson, I'll show you how to use both of these to your advantage. Unlike passive reading, active recall strengthens memory by forcing your brain to retrieve information. The more often you do it, the stronger those memory pathways become and the easier it gets. But keep this in mind: You don't need to memorize everything. Focus on what's useful or critical.
