- [Instructor] Our paths don't always turn out exactly as we'd expect. And quite often, they may be a bit on the wobbly side. Now here, I've created three perhaps exaggerated wobbly lines, but you'll get the idea, and we're going to examine four different ways we might work with them. So the first way I want to explore is with the pencil tool itself. If I tap N on the keyboard to get the pencil tool, I can actually overdraw segments of these, so I could smooth out in that way. You can see that I can add on. In fact, I didn't quite connect with that path just then. There's a lot of points here mind, and you can see that I can overdraw parts of that. Now what should have happened there is it should have reconnected with the line like so and smoothed it out, but it's not doing a terribly good job. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't.
