Using the AutoCAD status bar
- [Instructor] Once again, we're staying in our interface.DWG file, and we're going to take a look now at another part of the AutoCAD interface, probably one of the more important parts of the AutoCAD interface if you exclude the ribbon, where you obviously desperately need that because you can't drive AutoCAD otherwise, but it's the status bar in the bottom right corner of your AutoCAD application window. In that status bar, you can set all of your drafting settings and things like object snaps, polar tracking, ortho, and so on. All of these tools allow you to draft accurately, precisely, and effectively in AutoCAD. Now, these settings allow you to work really, really quickly and easily with certain processes within AutoCAD itself. Now, the status bar is controlled by these little three lines in the bottom right corner. If you hover over that, it will say customization.
