- [Instructor] What if you want collaborators to all work together to edit a long document, spreadsheet, or presentation in a shared folder? One big advantage of working in a Dropbox shared folder is that you can use the full power of Microsoft Office to edit your files. The downside is that it could be difficult to manage multiple people trying to edit a file at the same time, but Dropbox can help with a feature called the Dropbox Badge. The Dropbox Badge gives you the best of both worlds, allowing multiple editors to use the desktop versions of Word, Excel, or PowerPoint to collaborate on a file in a shared Dropbox folder. I've got an event planning letter open in Microsoft Word. Because this file was in my Dropbox folder, Dropbox automatically displays this Dropbox badge.
