Share files and folders with anyone
- [Instructor] Sending large file attachments back and forth via email is slow and unreliable. Dropbox provides a fast, reliable alternative. In this movie, I'll share some files and folders with Jennifer. I'll begin by selecting this single file, right clicking, and choosing Copy Dropbox Link. A link to that file is copied to the clipboard, and since I have notifications turned on, I see a prompt on my screen. Now, I'll go to my email where I've already started a message to Jennifer, and I'm just going to paste the link that Dropbox generated into the email. Next, I'll repeat this process for this entire folder here, this miscellaneous folder. Notice that I'm choosing Copy Dropbox Link, not the Share command. There's a difference. The Share command is for sharing files and folders securely with other Dropbox users, and we'll talk more about that in another movie, but Copy Dropbox Link lets you share a file or folder…
