- [Instructor] Azure, if you want to migrate services, you can have migrate entire VMs as we saw in an earlier lecture, or you can just migrate individual databases. The difference being, of course, if you are migrating individual databases, you have the option to migrate database from a virtual machine or a physical server on premises into an Azure Pass service such as Azure SQL Server. The process is pretty much the same. We still use the Azure Migrate tool and we need to create an Azure migrate project but the tool's slightly different. When migrating VMs, you have to download an entire VM image that gets installed on your HAP feed or VMware environment. But to migrate databases, we use a different tool called the Data Migration Assessment Tool. In the Azure Migrate pane in our Azure portal, when we look at the Databases view, we can get the links here to the actual tool and then what we need to do is install and run…
