GitHub data sources - Power BI Tutorial

GitHub data sources
- [Instructor] For this course, we're going to be working on a real world business problem with weather and electricity data to support the fictitious LinkedIn company KinetEco Inc. We'll tap into the images and other graphics from this website to run algorithms and build reports in our Power BI Model. We'll be getting data for our project from several different public data sources. The weather data comes from NOAA, which enables us to pull and query data records by date and location. For the hourly electricity data, we'll source that from the EIA, which is a treasure trove for energy information and data. To make our work within this course more streamlined, I'm storing the exercise files like the CSV data sources on GitHub. This also helps us better manage our data, especially since it's publicly available. Please don't put your own organizational data on GitHub, but please do explore my own repository for this course as well as others within the GitHub platform.
