The hardest part about making money is deciding you’re worthy of receiving it. As creatives, more than any client, you have the biggest negotiation with yourself. You feel the need to undercharge to make your place in a competitive environment, ‘cause if you don’t comply for less, someone else will. But this scarcity mindset is a self-imposed limit on your income and your professional growth. Before anyone else, YOU need to believe that the clarity, deep empathy, and unique system you bring to a project are scarce and high-value skills in the market. So, stop settling. Acknowledge the internal block, and then set the price that directly matches the full value and expertise you deliver. Sustainable success starts with demanding your worth✨. Have a great week ahead! #creatives #moneytalk #scarcitymindset #selfworth

Why Mis-Aligned Values Cost More Than Marketing Mistakes Most burnout stories aren’t about overwork. They’re about working on the wrong things. Every business problem has a hidden emotional budget. When values misfire, you spend energy faster than you make money. If you’re pushing hard but feeling flat, try this audit: 1️⃣ List your top 3 business goals. 2️⃣ Ask: Which core value does each serve? 3️⃣ Notice the orphan — the goal with no heartbeat behind it. That’s where the leak is. Real growth doesn’t start with new tactics. It starts with re-aligning why you’re doing them. Start with clarity — take the free 10-minute Values Snapshot and I’ll send your results straight to you. 👇 Link in the first comment. — I’m Chris Borrett, business coach, former lawyer, and creator of The Inner Life of Business — where success meets clarity. Starting a business isn’t glamorous, it’s raw, risky, and full of unknowns. I’ve learned a lot on this journey, and I want to share some truths for anyone putting themselves out there: 1. Faith over fear: doubt will come, from yourself and from others. Trust the process, and take a moment to pray for guidance when the path isn’t clear. 2. Consistency beats perfection: showing up every day matters more than waiting for the “perfect” moment or plan. 3. Celebrate small wins: every client, every project, every little success is proof that you’re moving forward. 4. Be adaptable: things will not go as expected, pivot, learn, and keep going. 5. Your “why” is everything: when the world doubts, your purpose and your prayers will keep you moving. This is dedicated to all the moms who refuse to stop, who keep building, showing up, and trusting themselves. Your courage is not invisible, and your hustle is not unnoticed. Keep going. Keep praying. Keep believing. #careermom #commercial #formerhrprofessional

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹. Earlier this year, I had a client dragging their feet on a big contract — the kind of deal that would’ve covered a few months of income. I didn’t confront them. Instead, I made a quiet promise to myself: If they don’t sort this out within 24 hours, I’m walking away. Why? Because that’s not the kind of relationship I want to build my work on. And yes, it was hard — fear and doubt creep in fast when survival is on the line. But entrepreneurial thinking teaches us to trust ourselves and flow forward. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗴𝗼, 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄. It’s about acting from clarity, not desperation. When I decided to let go, things shifted. By the next day, everything fell into place. That experience reminded me: when you’re ready to walk away, you regain your power. 💬 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂? Have you ever had to walk away from something that didn’t align with your values? How did that decision change the way you approach business today? Share your thoughts in the comments; your story might inspire someone else to find their flow forward. Most underrated habit in business: Perceive the important-but-not-urgent as urgent. Then act. Most founders know what matters. They just don't feel it matters yet. Here's how to change that: The problem is simple. Important work doesn't scream at you. It sits quietly while emails, messages, and fires steal your attention. Meanwhile, the work that would actually transform your business? Untouched. Why? Your brain doesn't feel the consequences yet. The future feels far away. So bring the future closer. Ask yourself: "If I never do this important work, what's the worst that happens?" Don't just think it. Feel it. Where will you be in 5 years? 10 years? Go there. Actually visualize it. Your business. Your health. Your relationships. Your bank account. Feel the pain of missing out. Feel the frustration of staying stuck. Feel the regret of wasted potential. Sit with it. That pain alone should make you move. Now flip it. Imagine you actually do the work. You build it. It compounds. Where will you be in 5 years? 10 years? How does your business look? How does your body feel? How do your relationships thrive? Feel that freedom. Feel that pride. Lock it in. Now you have two futures: Pain of inaction. Pleasure of action. The gap between them creates real urgency. Not fake inbox urgency. Real urgency from your future self. That gap makes you move. The truth: You don't avoid important work because you're lazy. You avoid it because the future feels abstract. Make it concrete. Make it visceral.

💡 What Does Value Really Mean? When I first started in business nearly a decade ago, value meant a number to me — a price tag, a bargain, or a deal. But over time, I’ve learned that real value has nothing to do with numbers. Value means helping people. Finding your true value proposition in business changes everything. Yes, sales and marketing skills matter — they get you noticed — but without genuine value behind what you do, success won’t last. And honestly, you won’t feel fulfilled. In recent years, I’ve met hundreds of people looking to grow their wealth through property investment. What I’ve realised is simple — when you focus on giving value first, people notice. They thank you. They refer you. They trust you. One of the greatest honours in business is having clients refer their family and friends. There’s no better sign of success than when someone says, “You’ve changed my future.” It’s humbling, and it’s why I do what I do. To those starting out in business: 👉 Focus on value. 👉 Be crystal clear on how you help your clients. 👉 Show them that doing business with you will make their life better. When you genuinely solve problems and deliver outcomes, your business will grow naturally. Most people I meet have two main challenges — time and money. Through real estate investment, we provide tailored solutions that help them achieve both — freeing up their time while building long-term wealth. It’s not just about the property or the product — it’s about how that investment solves their problem and creates confidence in their future. Today, value means more to me than ever. It drives every decision, every conversation, and every opportunity I share with my clients. Value = Success And when you lead with value, success always follows. #PropertyStrategy #RealEstateInvesting #FinancialFreedom #PropertyMarketGroup

𝗔 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝘀𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗢𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗪𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄 If you run a business, here’s something to remember: You can’t rush stability. It takes patience, discipline, and a clear sense of purpose. 📌 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱. Profit isn’t growth, consistency is. Learn to separate your business money from personal needs, even when it’s hard. 📌 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹. They’re not just numbers, they’re people who trust you. When you care about them genuinely, they’ll always come back. 📌 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀. The biggest brands you admire once started with little. What matters is your direction, not your size. 📌 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴. Markets change, people evolve, and new opportunities come quietly. Stay curious that’s how you stay ahead. And lastly, 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲. Because in business, trust travels faster than money ever will. Keep showing up. Keep improving. Your effort will pay off, maybe not immediately, but definitely eventually. #Groomingmfb #Businessowners #Wisdomforbusiness
