When I use Codex CLI on my Mac, it works fast and smooth, but when I switch to Windows, it becomes really slow. After some research, I found the reason and the fix. Codex is made for Linux systems, not Windows, and that’s why it has problems with commands and file handling on Windows. ✅ Solution: Use WSL2 (Windows Subsystem for Linux). It gives Codex a real Linux environment inside Windows and makes it much faster and more stable. I wrote a simple guide with step-by-step setup to help you fix this issue.
