Yes, AI Agents are here. And yes, you can trust them if you do it right. After productising several AI Agentic systems for companies like Pronect, Securex, GIS International, SD Worx, Ferranti Computer Systems, etc, we learned: ✅ AI Agents must be built on a solid data and evaluation foundation. ✅ You need Deep and comprehensive AI building experience and a solid understanding of the entire development lifecycle. ✅ Robust Software Engineering experience in developing and running data and products ✅ There needs to be a robust feedback loop between AI and Domain Experts, by designing user-friendly, no-code interfaces. At Faktion, "AI Product Studio as a service", we help our clients to break through the glass ceiling of building POCs and 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗜 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. Nice to see Faktion was mentioned in De Tijd article: https://lnkd.in/eh4nqDSr

Human Assisted AI should be about amplifying people, not replacing them. The real value lies in helping employees expand their skills and make better decisions. How can we make sure AI becomes a partner in growth rather than just a content machine?

Agentic AI without accuracy in the business models which drive the AI recommendations is risky business: - quality fact checked data, statistical reliability - robust ‘connect the data dots’ algorythms reflecting a sound business logic from proven business model - common denominator language across different data sources Are a basic condition to then train users how to exploit AI output. A backlog how recommendations are built,.. Love the warning from top professor Pattie Maes, MIT Boston.

Artificial Intelligence brings a whole new world of opportunities, if we have the right focus This weekend the renowned MIT professor Pattie Maes argues in de Tijd that the success of AI depends on its expediency. AI should act like a parent or a good teacher, encouraging us to think for ourselves and develop our skills. This approach is crucial to ensuring AI truly helps us move forward. As a father of 4, I can't agree more with this. The promise of AI is immense, however, AI's potential is only fully realized when it aids in our growth and flourishing as humans, rather than reinforcing echo chambers or replacing human contact. Therefore, let's employ AI as a tool that motivates and guides us, encouraging creativity and critical thinking. This way, AI ensures more than just technological advancement; it offers a platform for human progress and increased wealth and well being🌱. Generative AI may generate reports and analytics but it can't and won't generate what makes us unique: emotions and irrationality. No, as individuals or entrepreneurs, we may not be able to influence the geopolitical usage of AI but we can impact how we use it ourselves. As an enhancement of our human capabilities but for sure not as an ersatz product taking fundamental decisions. We owe it to ourselves and our kids to endorse AI in full and with optimism. But we're equally responsible for ensuring we remain in the driving seat. The future will tell whether we can do this indefinitely or as long as we can. I'm all in for the former! #AI #Innovation #Technology #HumanFlourishing #ArtificialIntelligence #Leadership #SoYouCan https://lnkd.in/eGFVPBWp

Interesting reading today in the Belgian financial press. It again shows that AI should not be used for anything else than supporting human and critical intelligence. And indeed, as a means of increasing quality and efficiency. But let’s remain proud of what sets us humans apart from algorithms and let’s not solely rely on substitutes or shortcuts. A joint responsibility for all I’d say. Users, who should remain critical. And employers, rightfully pushing the use of AI by their employees. Successfully rolling out an AI strategy is not a mere hunt for a maximum number of users. It's a matter of qualitative use cases and smart users. Signed, proud and critical daily user of AI! #pwc https://lnkd.in/eq5k8cn3

I read Designing for the AI Era a while back and you should too! https://buff.ly/Z8xJdcl 👋 The more I work with Copilot Studio, the more these ideas show up in practice. ⚡ Start with why: move fast, iterate directly inside Copilot Studio. 🤝 Treat agents as stakeholders: multiple agents are coming; think about collaboration and how tasks evolve as we move from digitizing > automating > agentifying. 💬 Think beyond chatbots: voice, RPA, and system integration are part of the design landscape now. ✏️ From drawing to writing experiment and build together. It inspired me so much that I’m now working on a response whitepaper 🤷♂️. Directly applying these design principles directly to Copilot Studio and agent design. So, what design principle do you find yourself rethinking most in this AI era and thus should be part of the next iteration ?

If Europe was a superhero, what would be its ultimate superpower? - World-class companies? - Impressive #talent? - Strong industries? While all of these are undeniable strengths, I believe Europe's true superpower lies in Industrial Artificial Intelligence, the INDUSTRIAL AI. This isn't generic AI; it's the intelligence that empowers our most critical sectors: #industry, #infrastructure, #energy, #mobility, and #healthcare. It is what makes them truly work, innovate, and thrive. Industrial AI is what maximizes its impact. I go deeper into this topic and its significance for Europe's future in a recently published article in the newspaper Jornal de Negócios. Read the full article here https://lnkd.in/dPEGsVxs Do you agree with this perspective, or do you see Europe's greatest strength being in a different field? How do you get 40 people excited about AI… and develop 6 concrete AI use cases for their business processes— all in just 4 hours? 👉 With the AI Design Sprint®. Last week, together with my colleague Michiel Hauwaert, I had the pleasure of running an Experience Session at Cefetra Group in Rotterdam. This wasn’t the full-day AI Design Sprint®, but even in this shorter format, teams created valuable AI use cases for their business. The goal? ✨ Spark the organization’s AI journey ✨ Be hands-on and practical ✨ Involve everyone in the process Our AI Cards® played a key role: they make AI capabilities tangible and together with our Collaboration Board they help non-technical business experts develop AI use cases of high business value. A big thank-you to Sjoerd de Jager for organizing and making it happen! 🙌
