My back almost broke moving this machine. 🤦🏻♂️ Yesterday was one for the books. Couldn’t find any pro vending movers, so I thought I’d figure it out myself. Rented a U-Haul, grabbed a pallet jack, and assumed I could push a 725 lb vending machine up the ramp. Oh boy, was I wrong. Thankfully the Saltbox team came through with a pallet stacker and helped me get it loaded. First time using ratchet straps too. A quick YouTube tutorial later, machine was secured tight. 🫡 Fast forward to the venue… no pallet stacker. Just a truck, a heavy machine, a pallet jack and a lot of prayers. Luckily, a few brothers saw me struggling, they stepped in and we literally pushed it down the ramp and rolled it inside. Back is sore, body is tired, but Alhamdulillah the XO Halal vending machine is standing beautifully at Thrive by Muslimi Foundation (Formerly American Muslim Consumer Consortium) and ready for today. Great job!. Im sure you'll figure out how to optimize and speed up the delivery of vending machines since you have all Muslim conferences all over the US to land this in. Then you have the various other tech events like OPEN. Then you have other conferences where there is a need for diversity in diet and food options like CES, IFA, among others!!!. Plenty of opportunity ahead of you.
