I will be attending the Pan-African Conference on Environment, Climate Change and Health in Nairobi this week to speak about the Lancet Countdown Africa, which we launched in April this year. This is a major milestone in ensuring African representation in global climate and health discourse, building a strong evidence base on the health impacts of climate change and strengthening capacity across Africa. As we continue to build this new Centre, we are seeking to collaborate, build, and integrate into coalitions aimed at creating balances between climate action and health protection, as well as between people, planet, and prosperity. Look out for exciting announcements about Working Group Leads and Early Career Researchers. If you are attending the conference, please reach out, and we can connect!
