Impact Licensing Initiative releases White Papers on equitable tech transfer

Milestone for the Impact Licensing Initiative ✨ We are proud to announce the release of our latest White Papers: ✔️“State of the Art on Impact Licensing: Co-designing the Impact Licensing Ecosystem” ✔️“Needs Assessment for the Impact Licensing Concept: Voices from Stakeholders for Policy and Implementation.” Together, they present the most comprehensive look yet at how Impact Licensing can make technology transfer more equitable, sustainable, and aligned with real societal needs. Developed with partners from Institute for Manufacturing (IfM), University of Cambridge, EURICE – European Research and Project Office GmbH, RISE - Research and Innovation Services, and The Data Tank, the papers introduce the Impact Licensing Ecosystem Model, a practical framework built around:  🔹Clearing Houses that act as a broker and standardise agreements,  🔹Impact Venture Builders that turn technologies into investable solutions, and  🔹The Impact Licensing Institute to ensure standards, transparency, and measurable impact. Stakeholders across Europe validated the model, calling for simplified processes, better links between finance and measurable outcomes, and stronger awareness beyond academic circles. This marks a big step forward, moving from concept to practice, and from research to real-world implementation.
