💎 Three days of intense and inspiring discussions at the World Jewellery Confederation - CIBJO Congress in Paris 💎 What struck me most during these sessions is how strongly our industry now embraces a shared sense of responsibility — not just towards products and processes, but towards people and purpose. From Gaetano Cavalieri’s call for unity and credibility, to Bernadette Pinet-Cuoq’s emphasis on public–private collaboration, and Feriel Zerouki’s reminder that “responsibility must be measured, not just declared — if responsibility is divided, responsibility is also dismissed", every voice carried the same conviction: our future depends on transparency and trust. The dialogue on Africa and local value creation was particularly powerful — underlining that beneficiation is not only about cutting and polishing, but about creating visibility, opportunity and fair partnerships. As highlighted by inspiring leaders such as Cyrille Vigneron, Marie-Claire Daveu, Iris Maria Alexis Van der Veken and once again Feriel Zerouki, true collaboration means being part of the same movement — working together toward a more united and sustainable industry. Sustainability is not redundant; it drives both innovation and trust. ✨ And trust is so precious that it’s worth protecting.
