To combat this, 2,000 MW each of solar, wind, and hydroelectric power are planned. Energy conservation efforts have been initiated with mixed success. This report outlines Morocco’s energy strategy, evaluating its successes and failures. Recommendations were made to reduce energy use, implement local-scale projects, pursue global collaboration, and promote research and development in renewable technology. This report will guide Ribat Al Fath in influencing Moroccan energy policy. #africanpowerplatform #africapowerplatform #energyaccess #PowerAfrica #PAYG #energy #cleanenergy #Africa #renewables #renewable #renewableenergy #electricity #electrification #minigrids #microgrids #offgrid #solar #wind #biomass #solarpower #solarenergy #windpower #windenergy #hydropower #hydroenergy #SE4ALL #SDG7 https://lnkd.in/e-E32pTa To view or add a comment, sign in

The International Energy Agency’s (IEA) latest Renewables 2025 report reaffirms China’s central role in driving global clean energy growth. Despite minor adjustments in projections, the IEA notes that China remains on track to reach its 2035 wind and solar targets five years ahead of schedule — with a remarkable 2,100 gigawatts (GW) of new renewable capacity expected from 2026 to 2030. Meanwhile, a report by think tank Ember revealed that China’s clean-energy technology exports reached a record $20 billion in August 2025, underscoring the nation’s growing influence in the global green economy. China continues to lead the world in renewable manufacturing, helping accelerate the transition to sustainable energy worldwide.
