Alexander von Humboldt Foundation’s Post

From climate change and its effects to artificial intelligence in Science – this year‘s interdisciplinary Japanese-American-German Frontiers of Science Symposium in Irvine, California, USA (5-8 October) brought together 60 outstanding young researchers from Japan, Germany and the USA. 🗨️ 🤝 The natural and social scientists exchanged ideas across disciplinary and methodological boundaries, built networks, and took the opportunity to work on future international collaborations. ℹ️ The Japanese-American-German symposia are a joint undertaking of the National Academy of Sciences, the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.  ---------------------------- Our #FrontiersOfResearch Symposia are regular bi- and tri-national events in cooperation with partner organisations in Brazil, China, Japan, India, Israel, the UK and the US. • Five people can be seen standing around posters and talking about them.
  • A large stone sign can be seen standing outside on a lawn. It reads: Arnold and Mabel Beckman Centre of the National Academies of Sciences and Engineering. 100 Academy.
  • A lecture hall filled with people can be seen from the side; three people are sitting on chairs on the stage, one of them holding a microphone.

ginge auch: "have exchanged across boundaries..., have built networks..., and have taken the opportunity to work"? Wäre doch gemäss meinem Verständnis der englischen Sprache das nachhaltigere Investment mit demzufolge höheren ROI öffentlicher Gelder.
