Very interesting development from the industry.🤔 #Figure03 marks a quiet but important inflection point in robotics. Unlike earlier prototypes, it’s shown performing long-horizon tasks fully autonomously no teleoperation. The new system integrates #Helix, a proprietary Vision-Language-Action (VLA) architecture designed to merge perception, reasoning, and motor control. It’s a step beyond static #LLMs toward embodied intelligence capable of understanding context through motion. Technically, the upgrades are meaningful: – A redesigned sensory and hand system with in-house tactile sensors (detecting <3g pressure). – A new compact camera stack with double frame rate and 60% wider field of view. – Wireless 2 kW charging, low-latency mmWave data offload, and improved safety architecture. – Production scaling to 12 000 humanoids per year at BotQ. But the deeper shift is conceptual: for the first time, AI is no longer only predicting it is acting. #Figure03 doesn’t just automate tasks but it demonstrates how models become agents once perception and action are fused in one closed loop.
