The Agent Framework is Microsoft’s new way to design and orchestrate multi-agent systems - bringing structure, lifecycle management, and enterprise-grade integration to what’s been, until now, a bit of a science experiment. It builds on the foundations of: - Semantic Kernel → giving agents memory, planning, and orchestration skills. - Autogen → enabling agent-to-agent collaboration and dynamic tool use.
