Volue and Jua.ai join forces on energy tech

There is a storm brewing. Nobody in the Energy markets saw it coming. It may be disruptive. I am proud to share that Volue and Jua.ai have entered into a strategic partnership agreement to jointly develop products and bring them to market quickly. This will bring Jua’s ground breaking innovations in AI foundational models to Volue’s established customer base. More than 600 of the world’s leading power and energy trading organisations are poised to benefit imminently. Initially the Jua.ai model will be made available through the Volue Insights platform. In addition to that, Volue will provide fundamental data forecasts powered by the Jua model. Based on this partnership, new models and further products will be released at a high cadence throughout the coming months, bringing the power of AI to Volue’s established customer base. When looking for partners to collaborate with, I quickly realised that most players in the weather and energy industries were stuck in their old patterns of thinking. In the age of AI, models will be developed and distributed differently. AI models will have new capabilities that would have been entirely new product categories in the old world. Then I met the Volue team around Arnt, Joakim, Minxian, Ola, Trond, Tor, among others. And they saw this future coming very clearly. They truly embrace the new possibilities beyond just better RMSE. They understand the new capabilities that AI models bring to the market and the new product categories this will create. This is an incredibly exciting time to be alive and to leave a mark on the energy transition. I can’t wait to get the initial products out of the door. And I am excited about all the additional things we will be bringing to the market in the coming months and quarters. I believe that energy trading is very ripe for a technological disruption and this announcement only marks the beginning of that. Let me know if you’d like to learn more. I am always happy to chat. I had the privilege of attending a lecture by the late Clayton Christensen, the father of disruptive innovation. In his final book, Competing Against Luck, he signed it with the words: 'Good luck, Arnt.' This partnership with Jua.ai feels like a fitting tribute to his profound insights. Excited to see the groundbreaking innovations we will bring to the energy market together, Andreas.

Congratulations Andreas! I have actually been thinking quite a bit about you guys lately as we at Skyfri venture more and more into the weather space given that we increasingly predict tomorrow's production for our customers distributed renewable assets. Seems like you are ahead of me! 😀

Congratulations Andreas and Team!

Exciting, curious to learn more! And I find your choice of wording - „it MAY be disruptive“ - refreshingly and admirably humble
