✨ New York Climate Week is a wrap — and to my surprise, I found fresh inspiration to keep pushing for nature at the heart of this concrete jungle. The contrast between the debates inside the United Nations and the unwavering determination of the people I met was reassuring - offering a moment of respite amidst the turmoil of today’s unsettling world. Here are a few unattributed quotes that I scribbled down: 🌍 “Let’s ensure this decade is remembered not as one of crisis, but of transformation. Business holds the power to rewire systems for good—beyond the noise of politics.” 🌱 “By planting trees in our coffee plantations, we’ve welcomed back the ‘coffee warbler’—a bird that naturally protects our crops through pest control. In a world of labor shortages, investing in nature is smart business, those birds are doing all the hard work for us.” 📊 “You don’t need perfect data to start. Make the commitment, and let the journey guide the metrics.” 💡 “To truly reset, we must keep hope alive—balancing urgency with agency, and pairing both with joy.” 💚 “I choose optimism. There is so much good in people—and people are what make up business.” 🌟 “As sustainability professionals, we must care for our mental health. When we believe and thrive, those around us do too—and that’s the ripple effect business and society need.” Grateful for the inspiration 🙏

Love this!! ""By planting trees in our coffee plantations, we've welcomed back the 'coffee warbler'--a bird that naturally protects our crops through pest control. In a world of labour shortages, investing in nature is smart business, those birds are doing all the hard work for Us." Let's ensure more sustainable practices and greater biodiversity in our farming of absolutely everything!
