In those five decades, spina bifida care has transformed profoundly, shifting from survival-focused treatment to empowering children to live fuller, healthier, more independent lives. Today, we’re proud to be: - The largest pediatric center participating in the National Spina Bifida Patient Registry (supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) - Founding members of the Urological Protocol for bladder management - 1 of 4 pediatric benchmarking spina bifida centers nationwide - Awarded a $10M research grant from Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute to advance bowel management This work reflects a legacy of leadership and a future of hope. Thank you to our patients, families, providers and partners for being part of this remarkable journey. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gRe6hPtm

Incredible and life-changing FIVE decades of impact by generations of multi-disciplinary team members! So fortunate to have had visionary leaders at each step--starting with Dr. David McLone in the past and Dr. Robin Bowman leading the program into an ever-innovative future.
