🌍 Feeling inspired after a few days at the World Health Summit 2025 in Berlin, a powerful convergence of global health leadership, ideas, and action. Germany’s renewed commitment of €1 billion to the Global Fund’s Eighth Replenishment, announced by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), was a standout moment. It’s an important investment in equity, resilience, and the fight to end HIV, TB, and malaria in the run-up to the Eight Replenishment Summit in Johannesburg on 21 November. Discussions around reforming the global health architecture were rich and thought-provoking. But one message rang clear: no matter how profound the structural changes, political will remains the decisive factor. It was also a joy to meet counterparts and make new contacts in person. The hallway conversations, the coffee-break brainstorms, the chance encounters - these are the moments that spark ideas and build trust. No virtual meeting can replicate that. A special shoutout to the WHS communications team: your work was exceptional, and it was great to see so many international journalists engaging with the issues. #WHS2025 Francesca Davoli Anne-Laure Aubertin Veera Haapaniemi Pauline Mazue Maria Sol Pintos Castro David Canarutto Scott Boule Quentin Batréau Sophie Baillon Emina Rye-Florentz Helene Berger Stephan Exo-Kreischer Scherwin Saedi Lisa Hoffmann Maike Bildhauer Sophia Schoeneberg Roy Bejarano Claudia Chiappa Tamar Kahn Sara Heyman Jennifer Rigby Susan Mackay ⚡️PCAC, ACC Maria Bard Rose Tavares Fuhrer Sabrina Andrade Dianne Stewart Sergius Seebohm Henning Hesse Anna Störmer Marie Wolf Florent Geerts Siemens Healthineers Estelle Willie, MPH Eva R.
