✨ New Feature: Conditional Display of Fields The new Conditional Fields feature in SmartSuite lets you define when individual fields appear or stay hidden, based on the data in the record itself. It builds on the same logic that already controls Tabs and Sections, giving you more precision in how pages adapt to your workflows. When combined with permissions, it adds an extra layer of control: 🔹 Permissions decide who can access a field. 🔹 Conditional Fields decide when it should appear. The result: cleaner record pages, less noise, and data that’s shown only when it’s relevant. Yesterday SmartSuite rolled out an update to the 70/30 Record Page layout y'all have been asking for. 🤗 Several changes, actually. 1️⃣ You can place any field on the left "70" section. Previously, we only allowed wide fields, like SmartDocs or Linked Records, to be placed there. The choice is yours now. 👏 2️⃣ 70/30 will no longer have its own set of sections. Instead, sections and their content are shared across all layouts. In the example below, I'm showing how to switch from "70/30" to "One Column" and back. 3️⃣ Thanks to this, all visibility rules will remain operational after switching the layout. For me, the first Monday of a new month = digital reset day 🧹 I like to do a bit of digital housekeeping to start the month with a clean slate. It’s amazing how much mental clarity comes from a tidy digital space. Here’s my quick checklist: 🗂 Clean out the Downloads folder: If you don’t know what half those files are, you’re not alone. 📧 Zero (or at least tame) the inbox: Archive, unsubscribe, or file things where they belong. 💬 Clear old Slack/Teams messages: Tidy channels, mute the ones you don’t need. 🧠 Organize notes & to-do lists: Move tasks forward, close out the ones you’ve already conquered. 💻 Freshen up your desktop background or widgets: a tiny visual reset does wonders. Yes, this includes getting rid of the hundreds of screenshots on your desktop. You’d be surprised how much lighter you feel after an hour of cleanup.
