People say they “want Co-Pilot”, but what they really mean is “Auto-Pilot.” One of the best Big Data LDN quotes I heard over a 🍺 last night. Taking a slightly more pragmatic posture: successful AI adoption requires genuine partnership between business and technology teams. It’s not about plugging in a tool and watching magic happen. It takes multiple shots and won’t be solved in a moments breath. Unfortunately, amazing B2C AI solutions which have had $$$BN spent on them have created an increasingly “I want it all and I want it now” mentality which is synonymous with the world we live in now. 🌍 🤷♂️ Real AI solutions emerge when organisations invest in both sides of the equation: Business investment means dedicating time to understand workflows, defining clear success metrics, and committing to process evolution. It means training teams not just to use AI tools, but to work alongside them effectively. Technology investment goes beyond selecting the right platforms. It requires robust data infrastructure, thoughtful integration strategies, and ongoing optimisation based on real-world feedback. There isn’t a silver bullet to AI success. Auto-pilot thinking leads to expensive disappointment. Don’t get caught in auto-pilot. If you’re going to build, make sure you build the right things in the right order. #TFIF #WeBuild #AI #BigDataLDN
Love the quote!
Totally agree - Had a conversation with business user this morning - “It won’t let me batch 500 documents to transform in one go, I have to do 20 and then check them to fix the errors…” Me - “Good. Now ask Copilot about human in the loop”😏
