It also coincides with a full year of me working on India as a territory, so here's a short reflection: India has not only established itself as an important cog in the global economy, but there's so much more this country is going to offer in the future. ✨ GFF Mumbai 2025 was insane — and slightly overwhelming — with over 100,000 people gathered in India’s financial capital for three days. Headlined by the Prime Ministers of India and the UK, and joined by regulators, investors, and industry leaders from more than 100 countries, it was fintech at a truly global scale. We had a jam-packed week! 💡 Blume BluSwan 2025: FinTech Edition Kicked off the week at Blume BluSwan, hearing from some of the top fintech companies on how they’re scaling within India and beyond — and meeting with some of the leading fintech funds driving this momentum. 📈 Blume Fintech Festival Bickey Russell shared how fintech in India has soared in recent years — and what differentiates those who scale sustainably. With 200+ innovators in the room, the energy was infectious. Huge thanks to Blume Ventures for an incredible partnership and for curating such a vibrant community. 🌍 Global from the Ground Up Sarita Singh joined the panel “Global from the Ground Up: Reimagining Fintech for a Multi-Currency, Multi-Regulator Future”. The discussion highlighted how digitization and strong public infrastructure are fueling cross-border growth — with India emerging as a global hub for freelance talent and digital businesses. 🤖 Stripe x Susquehanna Asia Venture Capital: AI in Fintech Breakfast Roundtable Co-hosted an AI in Fintech Roundtable, gathering 30+ founders in the room exploring how AI is transforming financial services. Hayley Hopwood shared how Stripe is implementing AI across our products and the impact it’s having on users globally, and conversations dove deep into balancing automation with human oversight, bridging knowledge gaps in adoption, and why defining ROI early (not after endless POCs) is critical. 🤝 Wrapped up the week inspired by the founders, partners, and investors shaping the next wave of fintech in APAC and beyond. Left Mumbai full of dosas, and still in awe of the ambition, collaboration, and momentum shaping fintech across India and APAC. Excited to see how Stripe can continue partnering with founders and investors driving the next wave of fintech innovation 🚀
