Insights from #BIOEUROPE2025 - connecting innovation, impact, and policy This week in Vienna, the BioWin team - David Honba and Loïc Germain - joined peers from across Europe to discuss how collaboration can help bring new health innovations to patients faster. 🧬 ATMPs, from lab to patients. In the session “Wallonia Belgium’s ATMP Ecosystem: Innovation in Action,” we explored concrete ways to advance Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) from research to manufacturing and clinical application: aligning early CMC strategies, adopting data-driven processes, and sharing know-how across companies and institutions. 🌐 Policy that enables, not just regulates. During an international clusters roundtable, discussions on legislation for innovation highlighted a recurring idea: clearer, more predictable frameworks - with early dialogue and digital tools - help smaller innovators navigate complexity and scale faster, ultimately benefiting patients and health systems. We come back from Vienna with new perspectives, valuable learnings, and renewed connections - proud to have represented Wallonia’s vibrant health ecosystem alongside our member companies and partners.
