This incredible undertaking was made possible by a cluster of 432 small, walking displacement robots. Each robot carried a portion of the massive weight, utilizing track and wheel composite drive technology for precise movement. What's truly innovative is that these robots could automatically compensate for ground elevation changes, ensuring stability and accuracy throughout the process. This project offers an ingenious solution for construction in Shanghai's narrow, older districts and sets a new precedent for the protective relocation of historic buildings.

At the Smart City Expo Kuala Lumpur 2025, I had the privilege of experiencing Tesla’s Model 3 and Model Y up close. Beyond just viewing them, I was given the opportunity to sit inside, explore the controls, and gain a firsthand sense of how Tesla integrates engineering precision with user-focused design. It was a striking reminder of how innovation transforms abstract ideas into tangible experiences that redefine industries. The Tesla Model 3 represents efficiency and sport-sedan dynamics, while the Model Y builds on that platform to offer greater versatility and space, sharing much of the same core engineering. Experiencing both together highlighted the way thoughtful engineering decisions — battery architecture, aerodynamics, motor configurations, and interior functionality — shape not just performance, but also the future of sustainable mobility.
