CCDH’s research on the violent antisemitic abuse on X following the Heaton Park Synagogue attack was raised by UK Parliamentarians who questioned when the Government would take action under the Online Safety Act. Patrick Hurley, MP for Southport, questioned the Home Secretary, followed by Baroness Keeley questioning the online safety regulator Ofcom about antisemitism on X. Platforms have legal duties under the UK Online Safety Act to enforce their rules & remove illegal content - duties X does not appear to be upholding....
